Tamar Racing Team members got the good oil on a $7.90 winner, amongst others, at Launceston on Sunday. Trainer Ken Hanson declared his galloper Rock This Party would be very hard to beat and his predictions proved correct "I think he can win, but I will be disappointed if he doesn't finish in the first three", Trainer Ken Hanson told members last Friday.  Rock This Party Winning at Hobart Rock This Party paid $7.90 on the Tote and the profits didn't stop there for members with the Bill Ryan trained Old Masters winning the 1200m Open Handicap and paying $3.70.
"I knew the horse was on song and I expected him to run a big race
today but the ease with which he won surprised me a bit," Ryan said after Old Masters impressive win. The Tamar Team also managed to collect a couple of placings with the Elesha Pilgrim trained Follow Me and Bill Ryan trained Vintilla finishing second and third respectively. "I was thrilled with Follow Me's run and it encourages me to see him improving every start", said Pilgrim after Follow Me's second in the 1200m Three Year Old Maiden. This big day out gets the Tamar Racing Team off to an impressive start in the Tas Racing Challenge Premiership accumulating nine points on the day to the Derwent Teams Zero.
