Trainer Ken Hanson
For the second time in just two months Tamar Racing Team Members have been handed a big price winner and it came as no surprise that it was from the lips of trainer Ken Hanson.

Rock This Party, who paid $8.80 on the Tote, won the 1220m Tote Sport Radio Class Two Handicap with Hanson's grandson Jason Maskiell on board.

Hanson is developing quite the reputation as the Members hero but he is quick to share the glory.

"This is a team sport and at the moment everyone is doing a good job", said a modest Hanson who watched grandson Jason win four of the eight races in a personal best achievement.

The team effort didn't end there with Rock This Party also being part owned by another of Hanson's grandchildren Brent Hanson.

"Brent is a big supporter of Tasmanian Racing and is the cheapest strapper going around", Joked Hanson.

The win gives the Tamar Racing Team some breathing room following a few strong weeks from the Derwent Team, with the premiership table showing a lead of six points in the Tamar's favour.

"We have a very workman like team and although the Derwent Team have some big stars coming back at the moment, we have a few of our own too", proclaimed Hanson who will saddle up up and coming filly Araya in the feature Three Year Old event at Hobart this Sunday.
