At $5.00 the win, Hanson has done it again!

Tamar members were given the good oil from a confident Ken Hanson last week who declared his strong mare Araya a huge chance make it three wins in a row and so she did.

Hanson who saddled up three of the four Tamar runners on Sunday at Launceston also managed to snare a third with Tiger Khan in the 1400m Maiden.

But it was Araya who once again showed strong resolve to win a classy 1200m 0-75 beating home Tamar teammate Governor General, from the Bill Ryan stable.

"She will head to the paddock now and have a freshen up prior to the summer carnival here in Tasmania", said Hanson.

Araya had been pencilled in for a interstate run however Hanson elected to make hay while the sun shone and concentrate on the better races coming up in Tasmania.

"She is qualified for most of the features down here now and on what she has shown over the last month she will be a serious contender", Hanson went on to say.

The only unplaced runner for the day was the Hanson trained Master Innocent, who Hanson told members was likely to need the run and a bit more ground.

"Don't jump off him just yet", Hanson warned members.
