Araya in the Paddock Before her Prep

Araya had to overcome a terrible barrier draw and a very handy field and in the end was not far from the eventual winner 'Relentless Pursuit'.

On a positive note members were shown solid each way odds by the Tote with Araya starting at $8 and returning over $2 for the place.

Other runners for the Tamar team including Rock This Party and Mijabele and where very disappointing and reports from the trainers will be available shortly for Members.

The Ken Hanson trained Asterisk finished well back but would've needed the run.

However the Derwent Racing Team have fallen further behind after making no points on the day and now trail the Tamar Team by three points.
